Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) uses a fine and flexible acupuncture needle to release tight painful bands of muscle caused by abnormal functioning of the nervous system.  IMS needling stimulates a reflexive relaxation of the tight muscles and initiates a healing process that helps reduce pain and tightness and restore painfree movement.
