Morgan Heese
Morgan was born and raised in Nanaimo and is excited to return home to serve her local community!
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Vancouver Island University with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Visual Arts. She then made the move to Vancouver to complete her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Through her time in the MPT program, she gained valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings, including orthopaedics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and community care. She is a keen lifelong learner and continues to pursue post-graduate courses to advance her practice.
Morgan has a caring and holistic approach to her physiotherapy practice, which emphasizes exercise, education, and manual therapy techniques. She enjoys collaborating with her patients to create treatment plans that are grounded in evidence and are tailored to their unique needs and goals.
She has always enjoyed being active, and her passion for exercise began with years of competitive gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. Now in her free time, Morgan enjoys yoga, weightlifting, nature walks, creating art, thrift shopping, and attending live music events.
